Covid 19 Policy

Updated 24th June, 2023

 With the easing of social distancing and lockdown restrictions, we are asking all clients and visitors to remain conscious of others around them and to exercise due diligence regarding hygiene and transmission.

Whilst face-covering is no longer mandatory we ask clients and visitors to be mindful of the potential anxieties of others and maintain adequate distances.

Our policy is to follow current government guidelines around what businesses need to do to protect staff and customers;

Provide adequate ventilation

 With the exception of the clubroom and toilets, all public areas at the centre are classified as 'outdoors' in that adequate ventilation is naturally available. Where possible the clubroom and access areas to the toilets will be ventilated with open windows and doors.

Clean more often

 Hand gel is available in the reception area as well as a disinfectant spray for riding school helmets after each use. Sanitiser stations have been set up at points around the centre to ensure that touchpoints such as bolts, buckles and brooms etc are cleaned between users.

Turn away people with COVID-19 symptoms

Staff members or customers should self-isolate if they have a high temperature, a new continuous cough, or a loss or change to their sense of smell or taste. They must also self-isolate if they:

If we know that a worker is legally required to self-isolate, we will not allow them to come to work.

 Check-in is not required at this venue

 It is not, and has never been, a requirement to check in using the NHS app at the center because of the open air classification

Communicate and train

We will keep all our team, contractors and visitors up-to-date on how we're using and updating safety measures.

These are the priority actions to make the centre  safer during COVID-19,

 Children

 Children should be accompanied by an adult at all times unless receiving instruction from a member of our team. Parents / Guardians of novice riders that require assistance with mounting and riding must be available to support and wearing appropriate clothing and footwear.
